I am an engineer, climber, problem solver, and former environmental scientist. I'm always seeking new opportunities to challenge myself, whether that's seeking new climbs in new places, or starting new projects to further my skill set and challenge my technical capabilities.
About
I thrive when solving technical problems, helping clients, and building relationships. In late 2020 I began studying software development with the hopes of entering a new career path that would provide opportunities to think critically and problem solve, not just once in a while but on a day to day basis. I quickly learned I had met my match.
I've found a home and a superpower in building tools with code and I'm looking forward to using my skills to help companies building products that are changing the way we all work and live. Pomodoro Timer
The Pomodoro Timer project was built in React as a time management tool to break work down into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks.

Decoder Application
The Decoder Application encodes and decodes messages. For this project I was tasked with building the JavaScript algorithms that enable the application to work and writing the unit tests in Mocha and Chai to test each algorithm.

Local Library Application
The local library application displays general statistics about the local library program, such as total number of books, books currently borrowed, and most popular books. For this project I was tasked with creating the JavaScript functions that render the statistics onto the dashboard.
